Pharmacist Inpatient Days

Job Details:

* Inpatient/acute care pharmacist position working day shifts with variable shift times
* Block scheduling type with 8 weekend shifts per contract (4 weekends)
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
* Must be proficient with Epic charting system
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Expected to float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 100 patients
* Required skills: anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PharmD, RPh
* Valid Kansas state pharmacist license required and must be in hand at time of submission

Facility:

This inpatient facility supports a broad range of clinical services and maintains a daily census of approximately 100 patients, serving diverse patient populations from neonates to geriatrics. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, radiology, phlebotomy, social services, interpretation services, and transportation to ensure high-quality patient care.
