Job Details:

* Shift hours: 06:45?18:45 or 10:45?22:45
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Up to 2 weekends of on-call per month and up to 2 weekdays of on-call per week; holiday call required as needed
* No floating within hospital or to sister facilities
* Block scheduling not available
* Pre-approved time off limited to no more than 5 days
* Perform cardiac surgery cases including CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and trans-catheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
* Perform vascular surgery cases including endovascular and open vascular procedures: AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm including fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning
* Experience preferred in general, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and transplant cases
* Work within a 6-room OR suite including 4 standard ORs, 1 hybrid OR, and 1 procedural/vascular room
* Daily census of 8?10 patients; patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Required case experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, and ECMO
* Charting system: Excellian/Epic
* Scrubs provided by facility for this position
* Parking available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
* Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, and NBSTSA or NCCT
* Community hospital experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience preferred

With 672 staffed beds, this large health system provides comprehensive surgical services including advanced cardiac and vascular procedures. The facility is equipped with a modern OR suite featuring hybrid and procedural vascular rooms, supporting a wide range of complex cardiovascular cases and maintaining high standards of patient care.
