Job Details:
* Shifts available: 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM or 10:45 AM to 10:45 PM
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* On-call required: up to 2 weekends per month, up to 2 weekdays per week, and holiday call as needed
* Weekend requirement: up to 2 weekends per month
* Scrubs provided by the facility for this position
* Charting system: Excellian/Epic
* Parking available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
* 1 year of CVOR experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Restricted time off: no more than 5 days per contract
* Will not float within hospital or to sister facilities
* Block scheduling not available
* Patients served: adults and geriatrics
* Daily census: 8-10 cases across 6 rooms (4 ORs, 1 Hybrid, 1 PV)
* Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA or NCCT
* Required cardiac surgery case experience: CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and transcatheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
* Required vascular surgery case experience: endovascular and open vascular procedures including AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm with fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning
* Required CVOR case experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and ECMO
* Preferred case types: general, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and transplant
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma certification. The facility operates a six-room cardiovascular operating suite including four standard ORs, one hybrid OR, and one peripheral vascular room. With 672 staffed beds, this organization provides a comprehensive range of advanced cardiac and vascular surgical services, supporting a high daily census and complex case mix for patients across adult and geriatric populations.
