Job Details:
* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four days per week on various days
* Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology (EP) lab experience required; academic EP experience preferred
* First-time travelers accepted with more than 2 years of experience in a busy EP lab
* No routine weekend requirements, though this may change based on staffing needs
* On-call requirement of 2 call days per week plus holiday shift call
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Scrub attire provided by facility
* Charting system: EPIC and GE Healthcare experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA); RCES (CCI) preferred
* Trauma Level II experience required
* No floating between units required
* Responsible for preparing the environment, assessing patients, reviewing safety checklists, and monitoring patients during cardiac electrical impulse procedures
* Key skills required include: cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, electrophysiology lab procedures, arrhythmia induction, conduction studies, pacemaker insertion, AICD insertion and programming, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure, hybrid OR procedures, vascular closure systems, and ventilator management
* Additional skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, blood product administration, baseline measurements, laser-assisted procedures, radiation and laser safety, IV vasopressors, IV infusion pumps, PICC line care and maintenance, and Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale
* Patients served are adults
* Facility sees approximately 10 visits per day across 3 procedure rooms
