Job Details:

* 3x12 shift schedule
* Every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday)
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
* PICU and NICU experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* All requested time off must be submitted with the submittal and approved prior to offer
* Will float between Pediatric units and NICU based on facility needs
* May float to adult units on the main campus
* Active New Jersey license required
* Required certifications: BLS, NBRC, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (travelers may obtain ACLS, PALS, and NRP onsite)
* Charting system: EPIC (experience required)
* Required clinical skills include: blood gas collection, ventilator initiation and management, BiPAP initiation and management, high-flow therapy initiation and management, code response, in-house patient transport, medication administration, and chest physiotherapy
* Required equipment experience: Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP
* Patient population includes neonatal critical care and pediatric patients

This healthcare facility operates both a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing specialized critical care services to neonatal and pediatric patient populations. The facility supports a comprehensive range of clinical skills and advanced respiratory therapy procedures, and maintains multiple pediatric units with the ability to flex staff to adult units on the main campus as needed.
