Opportunity:

MS/Tele RN

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend required, sometimes every third weekend
* Patient ratio of 1:5 on nights and weekends
* No floating required
* Block scheduling available
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Care for adult and geriatric patients
* Treat patients with diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, orthopedic conditions, chest pain, pneumonia, and COPD
* Daily census of 10-12 patients
* Administer and titrate insulin drips and Cardizem drips; no ventilator management required
* Required skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, chest tube management, feeding tube care, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, PICC line management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and total joint replacement care
* Proficiency with Pyxis and EPIC required
* Scrub color: Hunter Green
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred)
* Michigan nursing license must be active; compact license not accepted
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of profile submission; maximum 5 days RTO per contract
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, interpretation services, and unit secretary
