Opportunity:

RN - Outpatient Vascular Lab

Job Details:

* 3x8 shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, initially scheduled Monday through Wednesday
* Schedule may increase to 4x8 or 5x8 with additional weekday shifts as caseload builds
* Schedule flexibility is required - no scheduling requests can be accommodated
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call requirements
* Floating required
* 3 years of experience required
* Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
* Active California RN license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC); NIHSS preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Hard stop: EVLT and Vein Ablation experience required
* Key skills include: diagnostic angiograms, lower extremity angioplasty, stent placement, fistulagrams, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, sheath removal and monitoring, interventional radiology, carotid stenting, dialysis graft creation and revision, angioplasty, central venous access, vascular closure systems, and upper and lower extremity angiography
* Additional skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, endovascular interventions, IV vasopressors, thrombolytics, and ventilator management
* Patients treated are adults with vascular surgery diagnoses
* Daily census of 8 patients across 3 rooms

This outpatient vascular lab facility specializes in vascular surgery and interventional procedures, offering a focused and procedure-driven environment for experienced vascular nurses. The unit performs diagnostic angiograms, lower extremity angioplasty, stent placements, and fistulagrams, supporting a growing caseload with a collaborative care team. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and maintains a streamlined patient care model serving adult patients.
