Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2525.20

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
* Every other weekend and every other holiday required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience required
* Level 1 Trauma Center experience required (will consider high bed Level 2 experience)
* EPIC charting system experience required
* BLS certification (AHA) required
* BSN not required
* Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 days and 6:1 nights
* Care for general medical/surgical patients on a 15-bed unit with all private rooms
* Perform initial admissions for patients ready to be discharged from the ER awaiting unit assignment and provide care until transfer
* Float to other medical/surgical units as needed
* Utilize Epic, Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medications, and Aleris IV pumps
* Must be able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs

This acute care facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center offering a wide range of medical and surgical services. The medical/surgical unit consists of 15 private rooms and operates at a fast pace, serving patients transitioning from the emergency department to specialized units. The facility utilizes modern technology and equipment to support high-quality patient care across multiple medical/surgical departments.
