Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend and every other holiday required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Will consider 48-hour schedules
* Float to other medical/surgical units as needed
* Care for general medical/surgical patients on a 15-bed unit with all private rooms
* Perform initial admissions for patients discharged from the ER awaiting unit assignment and provide care until patient transfer
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights
* Utilize Epic for charting, Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medications, and Aleris IV pumps
* Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience required
* Level 1 trauma center experience required
* Epic experience required
* Must be able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
