Opportunity:

Inpatient Pharmacist - Children's Hospital Pharmacy

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule working days and evenings, generally rotating 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of evenings
* Block scheduling type
* Minimum every 4th weekend coverage required
* 80 orientation hours
* Minimum 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience required; PGY1 residency training may be considered equivalent to 3 years of experience
* RPh required; PharmD preferred
* Inpatient and acute care experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Experience with children's and women's health preferred
* May staff clinically in relevant clinical areas or operationally in dispensing pharmacy (Pharmacist in Charge or sterile processing) based on experience and competence levels
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
* Proficiency with pediatric dosing required
* Experience with Carousel System, Pyxis, and sterile technique required
* Children's hospital experience required
* Charting system: Epic
* 202-bed unit

Facility:

This is a short-term acute care facility and Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. The children's hospital operates a 202-bed unit serving neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a robust pharmacy department offering both clinical and operational pharmacy roles.
