Opportunity:

Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech

Job Details:

* Day shift position with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* On-call required: 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
* Call rotation: 10-12 call shifts per month with weekend call rotation
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* 2 Cath Lab rooms
* Perform procedures including pediatric/adult transplant, right/left heart biopsy, balloon and stent procedures, and valve placements
* May also perform interventional radiology procedures, preferably pediatric
* Work with congenital heart patients and perform heart cath procedures, diagnostic catheterizations (adult and pediatric/neonatal), and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
* Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred; electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), and either CCI with RCIS/RCES (preferred) or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Parking cost applies on nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for parking pass
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September
