Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float within scope required to meet facility needs, same expectation as current staff nurses with agency floating first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Preferred charting system experience: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
* Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
* Block schedule accommodation can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed

Facility:

This facility is a 12-bed intensive care unit offering specialized critical care services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The unit utilizes Epic for charting and provides comprehensive ICU care including management of complex neurological, cardiac, and surgical patients. The facility maintains consistent staffing ratios and supports interdisciplinary care with access to a wide range of specialized procedures and monitoring capabilities.
