Opportunity:

RN - OR / Circulator

Job Details:

* Day shift position with hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
* 13-week contract
* No weekends required
* Call required, details to be discussed during interview
* No floating required
* 1 year of experience in specialty required
* Circulating experience required
* Experience with Meditech charting system required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS; ACLS, CNOR, and PALS preferred
* Must be comfortable working with patients of all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
* Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including general OR, robotic surgery, orthopedic, gynecologic, cardiovascular, and laparoscopic assisted cases
* Skills required include but are not limited to: circulating, conscious sedation monitoring, wound management, infection control, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, malignant hyperthermia protocol, and universal protocol (time out) procedure
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* 36 orientation hours provided
* Valid Kentucky or compact nursing license required

This facility is a well-equipped surgical center operating 9 operating rooms and 180 beds, providing a broad range of surgical services to patients of all ages. The facility supports a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality patient care across a wide spectrum of surgical specialties including general, robotic, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and gynecologic surgery.
