Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM at Main location
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Floating required to sister facilities and rotating through all buildings as needed
* Expected to attend all staff meetings
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Orientation hours: 40 hours
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census: 130 patients
* 3 CT scan rooms available
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Parking cost: Nights and weekends only one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT), SC License
* Required experience: Peripheral IV (PIV) placement, Siemens equipment experience, and Level 1 Trauma experience
* Radiation badge required must be provided by agency
* Siemens equipment used: Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
* Required skills include: CT imaging of abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sinuses, soft tissue neck, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, musculoskeletal trauma, trauma head, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), 3D rendering, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, PACS, Siemens, isolation precautions/PPE, and Sectra
* Preferred IR/Angio/Special Procedures experience: biopsies and drainage
* South Carolina license must be in hand at time of start pending licenses not accepted

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. It operates as a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center while also providing routine studies, outpatient services, cardiac imaging, and interventional radiology procedures. The CT department utilizes advanced Siemens imaging technology and supports a high-acuity patient population across multiple campus locations.
