Opportunity:

General Ultrasound Sonographer

Job Details:

* Recent, hands-on Obstetrical (OB) ultrasound experience required
* Must be proficient in independently performing 2nd and 3rd trimester OB ultrasound imaging
* Ability to independently perform fetal anatomy, growth, and biophysical profile examinations
* Ability to independently perform general ultrasound examinations
* Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency imaging services
* Work closely with physician team to provide patient care for patients of all ages
* Travelers will start on Wednesdays
* During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
* Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program required
* Current ARDMS certification required
* Current RVT certification required
* A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of this assignment as public transportation is not available in the area

This facility is a cherished 25-bed independent nonprofit critical access hospital located in the heart of Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom. The facility delivers a comprehensive range of services including primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services staffed by board-certified physicians. The Diagnostic Imaging Department offers a collaborative team environment supporting a wide variety of ultrasound and diagnostic imaging needs.
