Open Position: Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* 4 shifts per week on day shift with rotating on-call nights
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* 2 nights of on-call per week including rotating weekends
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Perform adult echocardiograms including portable inpatients and outpatients, transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, and Definity contrast studies
* Complete structured reporting on all procedures performed
* Work with GE E95 (4 units) and Philips Epiq (1 unit) equipment
* Use Meditech and CCW electronic medical records systems
* Minimum 6 months of experience in an acute care setting as an Echo Tech required
* Pediatric experience required including ability to complete basic scans on babies
* BLS and RCS certifications required
* ARDMS certification preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Black or hospital-provided scrubs required
* Must demonstrate flexibility, strong teamwork, and patient-focused approach
* Strong communication skills with staff and providers required

This modern acute care facility features a dedicated EKG and Cardiopulmonary unit with 272 beds and a highly skilled team of cardiac sonographers. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac imaging technology and utilizes an advanced electronic medical records system to support comprehensive patient care. The unit emphasizes a collaborative and patient-centered environment with experienced staff and cutting-edge equipment.
