Medical Lab Scientist - Free Standing ER

Job Details:

* Position focused on Point of Care Testing in a Free Standing Emergency Department Lab setting
* Perform POC testing procedures
* Willing to perform clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director in support of FSED operations
* Must hold full MLS or MT (Medical Technologist) certification through ASCP or equivalent - Associate level license will not be accepted
* Required certification: ASCP (MLS, CLS, or MT Medical Technologist)
* Point of care knowledge preferred
* 2 open positions available
* 26-week contract available for interested candidates

This facility operates a Free Standing Emergency Room offering urgent and emergency medical services to the surrounding community. The lab department supports the emergency department with point of care testing and works collaboratively with nursing and lab leadership to ensure efficient and effective patient care operations.
