Job Details:

* Provide holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the OB unit
* Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills with a commitment to improving quality of patient care
* Independently perform general and unit-specific clinical skills
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
* Provide age-appropriate care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients
* Manage supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel across departments
* Adhere to Standards of Nursing Practice and hospital policies regarding confidentiality, advance directives, and ADA
* Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
* Minimum one year of acute care experience as an RN required
* Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
* Effective written and oral communication skills required
* Computer skills required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, STABLE
* Position Urgency: Rapid Response Crisis
