Job Details:

* Must hold both a Nuclear Medicine and CT credential
* Required certifications: BLS
* Required credentials: NMT (ARRT(N) or CNMT) plus CT (ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), or R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)), or R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT) which satisfies both requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; nuclear cardiology experience required
* Proficiency in pulmonary procedures: lung scan perfusion and ventilation/perfusion
* Proficiency in myocardial procedures: exercise/rest-multiple, exercise/rest-single, and pharmacological stress
* Proficiency in bone/renal procedures: 3-phase bone scan, limited bone scan, whole body bone scan, and renal flow captopril
* Proficiency in GI/thyroid/liver procedures: gastric emptying, I-123 uptake scan, uptake scan, and liver imaging
* Proficiency in SPECT imaging: bone, thyroid, and cardiac imaging
* Charting system: EPIC
* No weekend requirement
* No on-call requirement
* Approximately 6 to 8 cases per tech per day
* Work settings: adult and outpatient
* Scrubs: any color accepted
* Must float within skillset without exception
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted

Facility:

This facility is a 25,000-square-foot outpatient imaging center connected to the main hospital via a pedestrian bridge. The center offers a comprehensive range of imaging services including nuclear medicine, CT, MRI, digital mammography, DEXA, breast MRI and biopsies, ultrasound, and X-ray. The center operates as a partnership with a university radiology group and is part of New Jersey's largest integrated healthcare system.
