Open Position: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend requirement
* On-call responsibility includes 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month, with every 6th weekend call
* Call crew remains until all cases for the day are completed and will receive a day off following call
* No floating required
* 1-2 days of unit orientation provided
* Cerner charting system experience required - all MyJourney modules must be completed prior to arrival
* Perform 15-20 cases per day across 4 rooms in the Cath Lab and IR department
* Must be comfortable with critically ill patients including STEMI cases, as facility is a STEMI receiving center
* Must have peripheral and coronary circulation experience
* Experience with Siemens/Phillips equipment preferred but not required
* Experience with laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet required
* Work with ventilators, with respiratory therapy present for those cases
* X-ray experience required
* Scrubs provided on-site
* Agency must provide radiation badge for traveler
* Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, CRT, Fluoroscopy - RCIS not accepted
* Knowledge of Merge system is a bonus

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology department with 4 procedural rooms handling 15-20 cases per day. The facility is a designated STEMI receiving center and is supported by cardiologists and respiratory therapists available 24/7. The department maintains in-house pharmacy services around the clock and utilizes advanced cardiac intervention equipment to support a wide range of complex cases.
