Job Details:
* Block schedule required
* Every other weekend required as needed
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* PICU/NICU experience required
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Scrub color: Galaxy Blue/Royal Blue for RRTs
* Parking is free in any unrestricted space; bike racks available
* Charting system: Epic
* Required certifications: BLS, RRT, PALS, NRP
* Texas license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required skills include: Pediatric Critical Care, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, NICU, Pediatrics, and Suctioning (ETT, NT)
* Special equipment includes: Ventilators: Draeger V800, VN800, and LTV 1200; HFNC: Optiflow Jr and Airvo 2
* Patient age groups include: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, and Pediatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available through Respiratory Services
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

This facility is a Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 total staffed beds.
