Job Details:

* 20-week contract assignment
* Day shift, 8-hour shifts with a 6:30 AM start time
* Typical Tuesday through Saturday schedule with possible rotation
* Weekend coverage required
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Required certification: ASCP-MLS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the submittal process
* One pre-approved time off allowed
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Required skills include but are not limited to: blood banking procedures, ABO/Rh/Antibody Screen & ID, crossmatch procedures, manual differential, CBC manual, venipuncture, specimen collection and preparation, microbiology culture reading, gram stain, urinalysis, transfusion reaction workup, PCR testing, and quality assurance and controls
