Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work in a 16-bed, mixed-acuity ICU environment serving Critical Care, Stepdown, and Cardiac Telemetry patients
* Patient ratios vary from 1:2 to 1:4 depending on acuity level
* Work alongside skilled nurses, patient support technicians, and monitor technicians
* Provide quality, patient-centered care across three levels of patient acuity
* Daily census averages 11 patients
* Care for adult patient population
* Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
* 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Preferred certification: CCRN
* Required skills: Care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration and monitoring
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Float to other units and campuses may be required based on census needs
* Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
* 36 orientation hours required
* One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
