Opportunity:
Lead CT Tech
Job Details:
* Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Lead CT Technologist role
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Experience with McKesson charting system required
* Must be willing to float within the hospital and within scope of practice
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, Maryland license
* Maryland or Compact license must be active and in hand at submission
* Two supervisor references required
* Perform CT imaging including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
* Perform vascular CTA and carotid imaging procedures
* Perform brain perfusion studies and myelography
* Administer and prepare contrast media
* Start peripheral IVs
* Adhere to radiation safety protocols
* Work with patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Operate Siemens CT equipment and work within PACS system
* Support interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, interpretation services, radiology, and rapid response teams
* Daily caseload of approximately 80 to 90 patients over a 24-hour period
* Work within a 2-room CT department

This community hospital provides comprehensive imaging and radiology services with a high-volume CT department handling 80 to 90 cases daily. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, interpretation services, radiology, and rapid response teams.
