Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg (or applicable unit based on assignment)
Job Details:
* Night shift position with 36 or 48 hours available per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe, healing, and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment team
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* EPIC experience required
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
* Acute care facility experience: Preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor), ACLS, Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS)
* Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
