Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Day shift position with 36-48 hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe, healing, and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* At least 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
