Open Position: RN - Outpatient Clinic

Opportunity:

Ambulatory Infusion Center RN

Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule with no weekends and no holidays
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Treat patients with diagnoses including Oncology, MS/GI/Neuro/Transplant, and Obstetric conditions
* Daily census of 25 patients with 13 beds available
* Required skills include accessing and managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, administration of coagulation factors, antibiotics, corticosteroids, intravenous hydration and multivitamins, and infusion pump management
* Must be proficient in central line blood draws, central line and implanted line care, PICC line care, and starting and maintaining IVs
* Must be able to provide emergency treatment for infusion reactions
* Must be comfortable administering iron, fluids, and drugs for MS/GI/Neuro/Transplant conditions
* REMS training for Tysabri administration will be offered if candidate does not already have it
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
* Required certifications: BLS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
