Opportunity:

Radiation Oncology Therapist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with hours varying but primarily 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM depending on patient load
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Weekends not required unless needed due to machine downtime during the week, which is a rare occurrence
* No on-call responsibilities under normal circumstances
* Deliver external beam radiation therapy patient treatments on Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines
* Utilize Mosaiq record and verify treatment record system for charting
* Two therapists required on each treatment machine at all times - will not work alone
* Dedicated exclusively to Radiation Oncology department with no floating to other departments
* Outpatient clinic setting with no bed size requirement
* Minimum 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery required
* Required certifications: ARRT and BLS (AHA or ARC)
* Dress code: Business casual or scrubs, no open-toed shoes, facility-provided T-shirt or scrub top required
* No specific scrub color required
* Orientation consists of shadowing current Radiation Therapists for approximately 3 to 5 days
