RN - Emergency Room

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering safe, healing, and caring environments
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* EPIC experience required
* Holiday RTO will not be approved
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
