Opportunity:

RN - Tele/Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12s)
* 36 weekly guaranteed hours
* Every other weekend and holiday requirement
* No on-call requirements
* Must be able to float to other units within the float pool
* Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med Surg experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Cardiac experience required
* No block scheduling will be accommodated
* Patient ratio averages 1:7
* Must be proficient with EPIC EMR
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), NIH
* Virginia State License or Compact License required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue, all other attire per dress code policy
* Treat acute care patients across cardiac, med surg, and telemetry specialties
* 13+ week contract assignment

This 495-bed facility is designated as a Level II Trauma Center and has earned an "A" grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years. The facility operates a float pool across units averaging at least 30 beds per unit, providing care for acute care patients across cardiac, med surg, and telemetry specialties. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system.
