RN - Labor & Delivery
Job Details:
* Labor and post-partum experience is required
* 4x12 shift schedule available upon request
* Patient ratio of 1:3
* 36 hours of orientation provided
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
* Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
* Block scheduling is not available
* Floating between like units required, including Post Partum
* Local candidates not accepted
* Pending licenses not accepted
* RTO must be included at time of submission
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
* Scrub color: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, and adults
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Weekend shifts scheduled per needs of the unit
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
Facility:
This acute care hospital operates with 277 total staffed beds and provides a full range of clinical services. The facility supports an interdisciplinary care model including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The labor and delivery unit is equipped to handle a wide range of obstetric cases and neonatal care needs in a collaborative clinical environment.
