Opportunity:

OT - Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable scheduling
* Self-scheduling is not allowed
* Rotating weekends and holidays required with compensatory days scheduled
* Treat approximately 120-150 patients per day department total, with 9 evaluations per day per therapist and 16 treatments per day per therapist
* Work across adult and pediatric acute inpatient units, adult and pediatric ICUs, and adult and pediatric acute inpatient rehab
* Common diagnoses and patient populations include adult and pediatric ICU patients, trauma (Level 2 center), stroke, neuro, ortho, general med/surg, oncology, and inpatient rehab programs
* Perform ADL evaluations and documentation justifying next level of care
* Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
* All areas of the department may need to be covered
* Must clock in and out at the facility
* Scrub color requirement: any solid color, clean and professional
* Charting system: Cerner
* Care setting: Acute
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* Wisconsin state license required

This medical center is a comprehensive acute care facility featuring a Level 2 adult and pediatric trauma center, a primary stroke center, and a same-day discharge joint program. The facility supports a wide range of specialties including neurology, orthopedics, oncology, general med/surg, and both adult and pediatric inpatient rehabilitation programs. The occupational therapy department works alongside a collaborative rehab team that includes rehab aides and COTAs to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple units.
