Opportunity:

Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* Work Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
* No floating between units
* Perform 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
* Conduct breast biopsies, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations
* Operate Hologic equipment including Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX, and Trident systems - familiarity with Hologic equipment required
* Biopsy experience preferred but not required
* Perform digital quality assurance procedures and follow radiation safety protocols
* Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
* Work within a 5-room unit with access to interpretation services and radiology support
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Any color
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Mammography-ARRT
* Oregon license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 418 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and radiology. The mammography unit features specialized equipment and supports a variety of advanced breast imaging and biopsy procedures, serving a diverse patient population in a well-resourced clinical environment.
