Job Details:

* Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Tuesday through Thursday
* Weekend shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* 17 operating room suites with an average of 35 cases per day on weekdays and 10 cases per day on weekends
* Common cases include orthopedic, neurology, and general surgery
* Trauma experience required - facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center
* Scrubbing is not required for RNs
* No weeknight, weekend, or call requirements
* On-call response time of 30 minutes required
* Will work holidays if holiday falls on a scheduled weekend day
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* No floating requirements
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Unit-specific orientation required - must be in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote
* Charting completed in EPIC
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* Must be within 60 miles of facility - valid driver's license must be submitted

This acute care facility operates a large surgical department with 17 operating room suites handling a high volume of cases across orthopedic, neurological, and general surgery specialties. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, the facility is equipped to handle the most critical and complex patient cases, supported by experienced charge nurses and a comprehensive unit-specific orientation program. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and provides scrubs to clinical staff.
