Opportunity:
Interim Imaging Manager
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility required
* Some weekends required with availability for after-hours calls
* Managerial position with 24/7 site or modality-specific responsibility
* Oversee overall operations of assigned Medical Imaging department
* Coordinate provision of resources and environment to facilitate optimal, cost-efficient patient care delivery
* Define and monitor standards of patient care and Medical Imaging practice
* Ensure availability and appropriate utilization of human and material resources
* Support collaboration between Medical Imaging, nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes
* Manage extensive internal contacts across all levels of staff and management
* Manage external contacts including physicians, physician office staff, outside healthcare providers, vendors, and other healthcare facility management
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or graduation from an accredited school in an imaging modality required; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
* Master's degree preferred
* Registry or registry eligible for ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB required
* Current Washington State Certification required if applicable
* Minimum five years of progressively responsible work experience demonstrating required job knowledge and abilities
* Minimum three years in a supervisory or management capacity required
