Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation
* Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap
* Preferred case experience includes neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Required skills include: acute hospital OR, ambulatory surgery center, biological indicators, bronchoscopes, cardiac, chemical indicators, high-level disinfection (HLD), immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), laparoscopic, neurology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, orthopedics, robotics, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/trays assembly, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, sterile processing microsystem (SPM), sterilization wrapping procedures, transplant, and urology
* Serve patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission and no RTO will be approved after contract is signed
