Opportunity:

Day/10 Hours/AM start (7 AM or 8:30 AM)

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with start times of either 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM
* Call required on Sundays based on rotation, approximately every 4th to 5th Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* Saturdays are typically staffed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Perform MRI procedures including neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCPs, and breast exams
* No cardiac MRI performed
* Operate GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima equipment
* Perform procedures including abdomen, adult acute care, adult outpatient, brain, breast, cervical, chest, ER/trauma, face/soft tissue neck, female pelvis, gradient echo imaging, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lumbar, male pelvis, shoulder, thoracic, and spin echo images
* Experience with image post-processing including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction required
* Experience with maximum intensity projection (MIP) and multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) required
* Ability to start peripheral IVs required
* Use of surface coils, T-1 weighted images, and T-2 weighted images required
* PACS experience required
* Preparation and/or administration of contrast media required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics; adolescent experience preferred
* 8-hour shifts may be considered if preferred by candidate
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby; refusal to float may result in termination
* Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, ARRT (R)(MRI) preferred, California Radiologic Technologist Certification required, California IV certification preferred
