Open Position: Medical Assistant - Medical Assistant

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1599.80

Opportunity:

MA - OBGYN

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
* No weekend requirements
* Floating required as needed between Beverly Hills, Los Feliz, and Playa Vista locations
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting required; 1 year in OBGYN required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only), CMA
* Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture required (hard stop)
* OB/GYN clinic experience required (hard stop)
* Charting experience required; Epic system used
* Secondary OBGYN questionnaire required at time of submission
* Room patients, collect blood and specimens, obtain vital signs, and record patient histories
* Perform or assist with PAP, Colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, and NST procedures
* Address patient, physician, and staff concerns and escalate accordingly
* Assist with QA measures including recording QC testing on designated equipment
* Monitor workflow to identify opportunities for improvement
* Participate in daily huddles and staff meetings
* Adhere to all infection prevention standards, department policies, and guidelines
* Patients served are adults with women's reproductive health diagnoses

Facility:

This outpatient OB/GYN facility is a large women's health practice with approximately 20 providers offering comprehensive care including OB visits, GYN consults, and OB/GYN procedures. The facility is dedicated to women's reproductive health and operates across multiple locations, providing a dynamic and collaborative clinical environment for medical assistants with specialized experience.
