Opportunity:

Ambulatory Infusion Center RN

Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule with no weekends and no holidays
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Daily census of 25 patients with 13 beds available
* Treat patients with diagnoses including Oncology, MS/GI/Neuro/Transplant, and Obstetric conditions
* Perform emergency treatment for reactions, iron infusions, and fluid administration
* Administer drugs for MS/GI/Neuro/Transplant patients
* Required skills include accessing and managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, coagulation factors, antibiotics, corticosteroids, and intravenous hydration
* Proficiency in PICC line care, central line blood draws, central line/implanted line care, and infusion pump management required
* Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE required
* Required certifications: BLS
* REMS training will be provided if candidate does not have Tysabri administration experience
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
