Job Details:

* 4x10 shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
* Schedule will be mostly consistent each week but may change based on surgical schedule
* 13-week assignment
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period with potential for 1 shift call-off per 2-week period
* Weekend shifts required
* On-call required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must have cardiothoracic and Level I or II Trauma experience (hard requirement)
* Level II Trauma, Cardiac, and Thoracic knowledge is a must
* Experience with Difficult Airway supplies, Glidescope, Drager Anesthesia Machines, iStat, glucometer, and routine and difficult intubation required
* Surgical specialties include: Ortho, GYN, Urology, Cardiac, Thoracic, Hybrid Vascular, Plastics, ENT, Podiatry, Trauma, DaVinci Robot, CardioVascular Lab, IR, Endoscopy, Neuro Surgery, and Ortho/Neuro Spine
* Preferred skills include: Crash Cart, Scope/Probe Reprocessing, High-Level Disinfection (HLD), Aseptic Technique, Cell Saver, iStat, CVL, and Endoscopy
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color: Any (no reddish orange permitted)
* Parking: Facility paid
* Required certifications: BLS
* Preferred certifications: ACLS, ASATT, Cer.A.T.
* Patients served: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Facility:

This is a Level II Trauma Center serving both inpatient and outpatient populations, including IR and ER services. The facility operates across two campuses with a combined total of 571 staffed beds and 18 operating rooms with a daily census of approximately 55 patients. The organization supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties and is equipped with advanced technology to support high-acuity patient care.
