Opportunity:

MRI Technologist

Job Details:

* Full-time position working 36 hours per week
* Shifts scheduled on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday
* 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Variable shifts may be required based on census needs
* Holiday coverage required through on-call rotation
* Perform MRI procedures including using and building protocols
* Screen patients for contraindications and follow safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols
* Interview and educate patients on MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact and professionalism
* Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and requesting removal of hazardous metal objects
* Monitor patients visually and verbally at all times
* Operate additional equipment necessary for daily duties and patient care
* Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote safety for patients and coworkers
* Maintain and report on equipment status and help monitor inventory
* Provide age-appropriate care for geriatric, pediatric, and general patient populations
* Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
* Associate's Degree or Certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program required
* ARRT registration required
* BCLS certification required within 4 months of hire and maintained thereafter
