Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
* Day shift position working 5x8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* Float required to sister hospital campus as needed based on census concerns
* Will only float to units where competencies have already been demonstrated and documented
* Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine required
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT N, BLS, CNMT, NMTCB
* Medication system: Omnicell
* Documentation system: EPIC
* Scrub color: Hunter Green
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio: 1:1 during day shifts
* 40 orientation hours required
* Required skills include: 3 Phase, Adult, Drawing Venous Blood, DTPA Aerosol, Exercise/Rest procedures, Flow/Function, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, I-123 Uptake Scan, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Liver Imaging, Nuclear Cardiology, Perfusion, Pharmacological Stress, Philips equipment, Renal/Perfusion, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, Uptake Scan, Ventilation/Perfusion, Whole Body, and With Lasix
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
* Community hospital experience preferred
