Job Details:
* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
* Will work every 5th weekend
* On-call required - short call (4 hours at the end of a shift) once per week
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Primary equipment includes Affera PFA systems and Biosense Webster RFA
* Scrubs provided by the unit
* Charting system: Epic/Excellian
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, Fluoro Permit, CET
* Perform and assist with invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD insertions, laser lead extractions, and Watchman devices
* Operate intracardiac electrogram recording and pacing systems, therapeutic ablation systems, electrosurgical units, emergency equipment (TPMs, AEDs), and GE CardioLab
* Scrub EP studies and maintain sterile field
* Perform hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement
* Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
* Serve as room circulator and maintain sterile technique and asepsis
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Epic/Excellian charting experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* 1 supervisor reference minimum required at time of submission

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma certification. The facility operates with 672 total staffed beds and maintains a dedicated electrophysiology department with 4 procedure rooms and a daily census of 20 patients. The organization supports a full range of cardiac electrophysiology procedures and utilizes advanced technology to deliver high-quality patient care.
