Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday
* Every 5th weekend required
* Short call required once per week (4 hours at the end of a shift)
* 1-2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, Fluoro Permit, CET
* Epic/Excellian charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Scrubs provided by the unit
* Parking available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
* Primarily utilize Affera PFA systems and Biosense Webster RFA systems
* Perform and assist with invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures including ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD insertions, laser lead extractions, and Watchman devices
* Operate intracardiac electrogram recording and pacing systems, therapeutic ablation systems, electrosurgical units, emergency equipment (TPMs, AEDs), and GE CardioLab
* Scrub EP studies and maintain sterile field
* Perform hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement
* Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
* Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Unit operates with 4 rooms and a daily census of 20
* Float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby as needed

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma certification. With 672 total staffed beds, the facility offers a comprehensive range of specialty services and supports a high standard of patient care. The electrophysiology unit performs a wide variety of advanced cardiac procedures using state-of-the-art equipment in a well-supported clinical environment.
