Opportunity:
Family Medicine MA-C
Job Details:
* 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekends required
* 13-week contract length
* No on-call requirements
* Floating required between Downtown Seattle clinic and Central Seattle clinic depending on staffing needs
* Work in a team-based approach where MA to clinician ratio may vary between 1:1 and 1:2
* Assist with covering breaks and supporting clinicians across both clinic locations
* See patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* At least 6 months of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) required
* Internal Medicine experience preferred; Family Medicine, Adult, or Pediatric Outpatient setting experience required
* Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C); MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT credentials are not accepted
* EPIC charting experience required
* Scrub color: any color
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Skills required include: administering medication, obtaining vital signs, rooming patients, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, immunizations, nebulizer treatments, urine dipstick/urinalysis, chart preparation, record history/medications/allergies, scheduling appointments, stocking supplies, and phlebotomy support
* This is a temp-to-hire opportunity; candidates must be willing and able to transition to a permanent position if an offer is extended
