Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts, both day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) shifts available
* Every other weekend required
* On-call requirements apply
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week assignment
* Minimum 2+ years of ER experience required
* Must float as needed per Methodist Floating Policy
* Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
* Required certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
* Preferred certification: CEN
* Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
* Perform procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care (TPA administration), and chest pain/heart alerts
* Strong teamwork and communication skills preferred
* Dress code: Navy scrubs required (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only)
* No acrylic nails, nails must be no longer than one inch, clean with no chipped nail polish
* Hair must be off shoulders and natural color
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
