Opportunity:
MA - OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic
Job Details:
* 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting required
* OB/GYN experience required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only), CMA
* High school diploma or GED required
* Proficiency with fetal heart tones, blood/lab draws, venipuncture, and EPIC required
* No weekend shifts required
* Floating between locations required - traveler must be flexible
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Maximum of 7 days RTO; no RTO within the first 2 weeks of assignment
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics (all women over 12)
* Skills required include: adult outpatient clinic, biopsy, blood glucose via glucometer, capillary draws, follow-up phone calls, height/weight measurements, immunizations, intramuscular injections, labeling of specimens, obtaining vital signs, pap smear, pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, pregnancy care, pulse oximetry, recording history/medications/allergies, rooming patients, telephone triage, urinalysis/clean catch, urine dipstick/urinalysis, vaginal procedures, venipuncture, fetal heart tones, and external fetal monitor/NST
* Experience with Epic charting system required
* 2 professional references from within the past 1 year of employment required at time of submission; must be from a supervisor or higher
