Opportunity:

SPT - Sterile Processing Technician

Job Details:

* 4x10 shift schedule, Wednesday through Saturday
* Weekends required
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* At least 1 year of sterile processing experience required
* Must have sterile processing certification (CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification accepted)
* Robotic instrumentation experience required; Da Vinci Robotics experience greatly preferred
* Must be proficient in manual cleaning, sterilization wrapping procedures, and sets/tray assembly
* Experience with high-level disinfection (HLD), use of washers/sterilizers, and case cart management required
* Proficiency with steam sterilization testing/monitoring, IUSS, Steris, and Sterrad testing/monitoring required
* Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including General, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Laparoscopic, and Vascular preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: any color permitted
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This short-term acute care facility is a large hospital with 418 total staffed beds and 21 operating rooms, supporting a wide range of surgical specialties. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is equipped with advanced robotic surgical systems. The organization maintains high standards for sterile processing and instrumentation management to support its diverse surgical programs.
