Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2109.44

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg or applicable unit role

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 17:00 to 5:30 AM
* 36 hours per week with weekend rotation
* Unit dress code requires solid color scrubs
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and caring environments
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum two years of recent acute care experience required
* BSN preferred
* Epic EMR experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* PALS required (preferred/optional for first contract but must be obtained prior to any contract extension)
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required

This facility has been deeply connected to its community since 1956 and is comprised of a 50-bed acute care medical center, a level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, an extensive physical rehabilitation program, an outpatient surgery and diagnostic center, and an advanced wound care center.
