Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2832.80

Opportunity:

RRT - Respiratory Care

Job Details:

* 40 hours per week with 8 and/or 12 hour shifts available
* Evening and/or night shifts
* At least every other weekend and every other holiday required, based on department need
* Floating to Westerly Hospital as needed
* 2 years of experience required within specialty
* Pediatrics experience required
* CT and RI state licenses required - may start with one pending as long as one is active
* Required certifications: BLS, CRT, RRT
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Navy blue

* Serves patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), intubation assist, tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, suctioning (ETT, NT), pulmonary hygiene, oxygen tanks, oral and nasal suctioning, metered dose inhaler (MDI), chest physiotherapy, and sputum specimen collection

Facility:

This facility is a short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds. It is part of a large, well-established regional health system and provides comprehensive medical services across multiple locations. The facility is equipped with modern technology and supports a wide range of patient care needs, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult critical care services.
